World class hospital with outstanding infrastructure. For first time visitors: Be there in hospital as earliest in the morning and not late than 11 AM. First right after the gate you can see the new Patient registration building. Ask the security in front of the building and they will provide a registration form with token number. Get inside and fill the form . In counter, they will give the new hospital record after registering it to the respective divisions as you needed. Then visit the OP and could be another line there for the patients. Very good hospital, treatment and staff but the waiting time and the number of time need to visit may suffer. Critical patients can visit to casualty Incase needed.

Most doctors are amateurs and they lack tolerance. The Juniors try to chase away the patients by rude behavior before a senior doctor come to supervise. They only give treatment for small problems. Why do they ask about patient's income? Even if the patients are willing to pay for the treatment , they won't be treated respectfully.

I know JIPMER for a long time, i used them in attending some of d medical camps in pondy, they had bn quite helpful in deputing various teams. On 12 Nov 2023, one of my young relatives who affected by lukhemia, unable 2 bear d treatment charges at amrutha hospital cochin contacted me, i could arrange admitting this boy easily at jipmer. I like d atmosphere n warmness of Doctors there. All r found to b helpful. Appears they take care everything free with a sense of responsibility. Congrats to team of JIPMER 🙏

One of the best Medical colleges of India. My sister graduated from this college and I had the privilege to visit it many times. The bachelors course is the best. The campus is huge and very well maintained. The hostel is also very good. Excellent faculty.

Very worst management I never seen like this type of hospital. People treated like animals and slave even Housekeeping, security, staff nurses persons also speaking very worst to patient attender this hospital only for education purpose only not for treatment to poor peoples. Hospital block OPD no hot water facilities, people seating facilities all people sitting on floor only. I think NAAC and NABH never seen this hospital facilities and management system.

Jipmer Hospital & College opened by Nehruji in 1966 in Pondicherry (Gorimedu). 1/2 kg Tablets given to each patients for every month. Most of tablet quality are Stale (நமத்து போனது) & poor, the same tablet in private medicals are crispy and good effective. The pharma companies supplier are very careless and Jipmer Quality control dept are not bothered about it. Other than that, they are doing their best..!!
